Barbara’s Cookie Pies LLC, a gourmet producer of hand-made Butter Cookie Pies and Butter Cookies, received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women President’s Educational Organization of New York, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

President and CEO, Barbara Schechter received this national certification, Monday, October 22. Barbara’s latest certification is attributed to the company’s unique concept and consistent growth in product development. 
 
Being certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise, the Women’s Presidents’ Educational Organization of New York recognizes Barbara’s Cookie Pies as a successful leader in the women-owned business field, demonstrating commitment and quality to attain success. 
 
“It is such a great honor to be recognized, not only for me but also for my mom and nana, who share in this success,” said Barbara. “Having this certification solidifies my passion I have each and every day to keep doing what I do and hopefully be seen as an example to other up & coming entrepreneurs.”
