NEW JERSEY - One of the most influential humanitarians of our time will be a special guest at the student organized 'Unite in the Fight' Fund Raising event on April 26th at the Eagle Oaks Country Club in Farmingdale, to help bring awareness to bullying and the negative outlets students are using to deal with the obstacles in their young lives.

David Toma is a highly decorated former New Jersey Police Detective, whose career inspired two TV Shows ‘Toma’ and ‘Baretta’. Toma has since dedicated his life to informing students about the long lasting detrimental effects of negative behavior, encouraging them to find positive healthy paths.  Toma is attending the event to support the students, as they share their stories and what they are experiencing in their schools and in their community.

The fund raiser will benefit the BULLYING...We’re Kickin’ It Campaign, with the funds dedicated to permanently placing the Awareness and Leadership Kickin' It Center within Monmouth County. Currently, the Kickin' It after school programs, workshops and positive outlet camps are operating within the donated space provided by the 3-2 Count Athletic Facility in Freehold, which Kickin’ It has rapidly outgrown.

During the event, Monmouth County SPCA Police Chief Buddy Amato will have his Martial Arts Demo Team share their positive outlet. Mayor Engel of Colts Neck, Actor Jose Hernandez Jr., Musician David Homyk, Author Brimstone, Actor Josh Flitter, Former Miss Teen NJ Erica Syzmanski, Actress/Singer Raquel Castro and 2012 Miss National Sweetheart Courtney Baxter are some of the other special guests attending the event.

The Kickin' It Kids will have a jam packed day, as their April 26th event is also National Bring Your Kids to Work Day. Some of the Kickin' It Kids will participate in two powerful presentations bringing an early morning positive message to the children of campaign sponsor Ferrero Rocher. Then Kickin' It heads to the Monmouth County Superior Court with a special presentation prepared for the children whose guardians hold various positions within the judicial system and Sheriff Dept.
