The Township of Manalapan is pleased to announce the holding of its fourth annual photo contest.

The 2012 theme is “Manalapan – An Appreciation of Where I Live” – a repeat of the first photo contest. The contest will be looking for pictures of any scene, object, event, people or activity that occurs in Manalapan that inspires an appreciation of residing in the town.

The contest is open to all Manalapan residents. Each resident can enter only one photo. Photographs must include a brief description (25 words or less) and the location/event of the photo.

Awards will be given in the following categories: Younger than 12 years old, 12-17 years of age and adult (18 years of age and over).

All photos will be on display at the "Manalapan Under the Stars" community event on June 16, 2012 where a special “Peoples Choice” award will be given to the photograph that garners the most votes that day from the visiting and judging public. 

Photographs must be received by 4:30 p.m. on May 8, 2012.  Photographs can be submitted by email to photocontest@mtnj.org (file must be less than 1.5mb) or dropped off at the Manalapan Township Health Department (photographic prints must not be larger than 5” x 7”).
