Young Girl Beats Boys in Motorcycle Race at Raceway Park

Davis Eames, a twelve-year-old motorcycle racer from Springs, NY, who has been racing Quads since she was six, has beaten the boys in the latest race held last weekend (August 5) at Raceway Park in Old Bridge.

Eames was the only girl who competed, and she won two first-place finishes and one third-place finish.

Eames began her love affair with Quads after her father gave her a ride on one when she was two-years-old. By the time she was four, she had her own bike. Now she owns five rugged ones; and her dad, Jeff, not only keeps each one in optimum running order, but he rebuilds the bikes every year. When he’s finished, the bikes are like new.

Eames has participated in nearly 200 races, won as many trophies, and races every other weekend from April through September. She is a highly competitive spunky kid, cute as a movie star, yet modest about herself, and determined to work hard to be the best in the land. When asked what are her ambitions, she says: “To win a NASCAR race.” And why not? She certainly has the drive, the talent, and a great family that cheers her on, race after race.
