1. Mostly Sunny: Today will be mostly sunny with a high temperature reaching about 69, according to the National Weather Service. There is a 70 percent chance of rain tonight. Otherwise it will be mostly cloudy and the low temperature will fall to around 55.
 

 

2. Government:

  • The Manalapan Township Zoning Board meeting, originally scheduled for tonight at 8 p.m., has been cancelled. 

 

3. Manalapan High School Sports:

  • Boys and Girls Varsity Gymnastics Meet vs. Brick Memorial High School and Manasquan High School at 4 p.m.

Away

  • There are no away games scheduled today.

 

4. Domestic Violence Performance: The Manalapan Domestic Violence Crisis Team is presenting a performance entitled “I Am Domestic Violence”. The performance is written and performed by Wambui Bahati. Admission is free. The performance is taking place at Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School tonight at 7:30 p.m.

 

5. Author Reading: Jon Gertner, author of “The Idea Factory: Bell Labs and the Great Age of Innovation", will be discussing his book tonight at the Monmouth County Library at 7 p.m. Gertner the culture of Bell Laboratories, the Research and Development arm of AT&T.
