1. Sunny, Cooler: The National Weather Service is calling for a sunny day, but the high temperature will only reach 73. Tonight, the sky will remain clear and the low temperature will dip to about 54.
2. Government:
- The Shade Tree Committee is meeting in room 213 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 7:30 p.m.
- The Economic Development Committee is meeting in room 216 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 7 p.m.
3. September 11th Memorials:
- Borough of Englishtown Patriots Day Memorial will take place at the Englishtown Fire Department at 7 p.m.
- The Manalapan Candlelight Memorial Ceremony will take place at the September 11 memorial within the Manalapan Township Arboretum which is in front of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building.
4. MERS BOE Workshop Meeting: The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Board of Education is meeting at their administration building in Englishtown tonight at 7:30 p.m. for a workshop meeting. No action will be taken.
5. English Conversation Classes: The Monmouth County Library is holding an English conversation class today at 4 p.m. These classes focus on listening and practicing English.
