Students at the Freehold Regional High School District (FRHSD) will not return to the classroom Friday, due to lasting impacts of Hurricane Sandy.

A statement on the FRHSD website said that in addition to all schools being closed Friday, all school offices will also be closed and all activities have been canceled.

On Sunday evening, the district we will make an announcement regarding the status of school next week. FRHSD students will receive updates through automated phone calls and the district’s website.
