Helicopter Transports Pine Brook School Custodian After Fall at Work
The man had recently undergone spine and neck surgery.
A MONOC Helicopter transported a 41-year-old Englishtown man to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital this morning after he fell at Pine Brook School. The man was a custodian at the school and was cleaning lighting fixtures at the time of the fall.
According to Capt. Michael Fountain of the Manalapan Police Department, police responded to Pine Brook School at around 10:30 a.m. for the report of a fall victim. Monroe BLS responded as mutual aid, according to police and a landing zone was set up on the school's property.
The victim had recently undergone a neck and spinal procedure and EMS personnel were alerted to his medical history, Fountain said.
The name of the victim is not available as not all of his family has been notified. Patch will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
