Man Ejected from Motorcycle on Route 33
The motorcycle accident is still being investigated by Manalapan police.
Police responded to the area of Route 33 between Woodward Road and Pegasus Road for a report of a motorcycle accident on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 6.
Andrew Major, 46, of Jackson reportedly veered off of the road, struck a curb, and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Then, the motorcycle struck a utility pole and landed in the middle of the roadway. Major flew past the utility pole, tumbled down the grass along the roadway, and landed on a driveway, according to police.
When Manalapan police arrived at the scene patrolmen found members of the Englishtown-Manalapan First Aid Squad assessing Major for injuries.

Major was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center by the Englishtown-Manalapan First Aid Squad along with Centra State Medics, police said. The extent of Major's injuries are currently not known by police.
The motorcycle is currently under investigation by Ptl. Jason Vigneault of the Manalapan Township Police Department.

Let's hope and pray this man is okay. I hate to read stories like this. And motorists beware, motorcycles are everywhere. Drive with courtesy and give these bikers a chance, that's someone's son, dad, brother or husband on that bike. I lost a co worker earlier this year to someone's inattentive driving. A young girl lost her father, we lost a friend and someone's going to prison for manslaughter. Drive safely.
