Was flooded out totally from Irene, The major Difference is last august the rainfall was the most we've even gotten in the month of august since records were kept, so Irene just added more water than the stream in back of brookview lane could take, the ground was saturated before the storm hit. As of yesterday the levy's in the area were dry. So I do not expect a repeat, just checked the drains and the water is still flowing toward the rain basins. I had originally thought that the drains had went towards some type of a plant, but found they do not, its just a loop type system they go to the area behind the houses where the levy runs. When we flooded during Irene the water came out from those drains around 2-3 am because the Levy's were full. 19 inches of rain in one month will do that. So I do not for see a repeat of our flooded basements and streets in the area. Extra note, the town has put many new elec poles and lines on pension red and surrounding area that why we haven't been losing electictricity with every storm. Be safe all
