Manalapan police have arrested Patrick Dileo, 22, of Manalapan Township for allegedly breaking-in and attempting to rob a home on Fawn Run on Jan. 15.

Police arrived at the Fawn Run residence at around 3 a.m. to a reported burglary in progress. More than one burglar fled the scene, one of whom was able to be positively identified by the homeowner, according to police. Some objects from the home were taken, but later dropped at the scene.

Detective Charles Alaimo was leading the investigation and was able to conclude Dileo's involvement. Alaimo arrested and charged Dileo with burglary and theft to a residence. He was processed and released without bail.
