Nick Clemons Band to Rock Manalapan High School

Nick Clemons is Clarence Clemons' oldest son.

The Nick Clemons Band will be performing their original, eclectic music at Manalapan High School on Friday, Oct. 5. Led by Nick Clemons, the oldest son of legendary saxophonist Clarence Clemons of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, the band mixes funk, rock, pop, jazz and R&B to formulate a unique, rich sound.

The seven-piece band is based out of Asbury Park, but has been touring the country and performing at various venues and have spent he past summer playing along the East Coast and Jersey Shore.

The band is made up of Nick Clemons on guitar, harmonica, and vocals; Timmy Douglas on bass; Joe Barker or guitar; Joey Stann on saxophone; Jim Squirrell on trumpet; Eric Gonzalez on drums; and Jake Hughes on keyboard.

The Nick Clemons Band will be performing new material, including "No Worries", a track which features a powerful saxophone solo performed by Clarence Clemons.
