No Garbage Pickup, Courts Closed Monday in Manalapan

A non-emergency hotline will be staffed by a live operator beginning Sunday night.

The Manalapan Township Municipal Building will be opened Monday, however courts will not be in session and garbage pickup has been canceled.

“We’re requesting folks who have a scheduled garbage pickup for Monday to bring cans back into their homes in a secure location,” said Judith Drucker, public information officer for Manalapan.

A non-emergency hotline will be established as of 6 p.m. Sunday night at 732-446-3200. The hotline will be covered by a live operator, Drucker said. Residents should call the line if they have questions about seeking and being transported to emergency shelter or if they see a power line or a tree down, for example.

Emergency medical calls should continue to be made at 9-1-1.
