Marie “Butsy” Caputo, 73, of Manalapan, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011, at home with her loving family. Born in Newark, she has resided
in Manalapan for the past 50 years.
She was a communicant of , Englishtown. Marie was a bookkeeper for Bulk’s Nursery in Manalapan for 15 years before retiring ten years ago. She then volunteered her time as an income tax aide for AARP Inc. for many years. Butsy enjoyed knitting and loved her children and grandchildren. Her renowned “Sunday gravy” has been shared and loved by all.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; her two sons and daughter-in-law,
Michael and Dawn of Barnegat and Marc of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and two
grandchildren, Nicholas and Dayna.
Family and friends are invited to visit today from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the , 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday at , Englishtown. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Lung Association.
