Monmouth Heights is still blocked on certain streets and even with the town getting 4 million , our town can't get it cleaned up. Now we are told by the rude people at public works by Feb. After 2 months, they should have hired enough people to do it. Interestingly certain officials always have theirs cleaned . It is wrong that they are doing "first pass" only now. Certain places have been done more than once. We have asked for a schedule for all streets and all we get is a weekly posting of a few streets. I for one are fed up. My car is getting scratches from driving down the streets and if public works can't get it done in the last couple of months , there needs to be a change there. Mayor Cohen, please do not respond with any more excuses. You have 4 million, hire people and get it done already.

Mayor Cohen, please post list of hired contractors cleaning our streets. We have the right to know and will assume if you do not post by Monday 12/24/2012 that there are none. Thank you.

I agree Monmouth heights its TERRIBLE

Amazing, they started to clean off Ryan Rd today. They made a mess which can't really be blamed on them since the debris sat there for months and was a decomposing mess. The town needs to take out the street sweeper and start using it. Remember, no more excuses, you got 4 million. If the state highways can be pristine, then our neighborhoods deserve the same. We did not move here from NY to live in dirt/filth. Restore Mionmouth Heights to where it was.. It is not the residents who should have to go in the middle of the streets and risk getting hit by a car/bus. We have paid high taxes, you got a bonus of 4 million and Mr. Green saying that the street sweeper has not been used in 2 years is unacceptable. It is now time to go back to the 2X year we previously had.

I guess there are no contractors hired since Mayor Cohen could not list them. No wonder it is taking so long to clean the streets . Wonder where the 4 million the state awarded to Manalapan is going ?? Anyone know??
