Vernon Naylor, WWII Vet from Englishtown Dies
Interment will take place today at the Old Tennent Cemetery.
Vernon E. (Brud) Naylor, 93, of Holiday, FL, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012. A native of Englishtown, NJ, he served his country in the Navy during WWII. He was a partner in Orr Motors Inc. for many years before retiring as a parts manager. He and Helen retired to Florida in 1983, where they became active members in the First United Methodist Church of Tarpon Springs and their community.
Brud was predeceased by his son, David; and his brother, Forman. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Helen; his son, Raymond and wife Donna of Freehold; daughter-in-law, Mary of Cincinnati; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held in Florida with interment to take place Wednesday, July 25 at Old Tennent Cemetery.
