I have been training at Modern for just a short while and I have to say these people are soRead Moreawesome. Great group of people that I instantly consider my family. Sounds weird but you have to see for yourself why they have such a great reputation and following.Great classes from Fitness to kickboxing, Boxing and much more. I lost 40lbs here in no time. My last seminar here with "snake pit" I met people that WALKED from Freehold to Modern and one guy drove through a snow storm 5 hrs away for it and some were from other schools in the tri state area. It was THE best seminar I have ever been too by far. It made me want to post this for them. Hope you get a chance to take advantage of this seminar.

Fred -you are dealing with a woman who has lost all pretense of logic and rationality.Anyone whoRead Morethi nks logically like you do cant possibly be right in her thoughtsShe claims objectivity.How-you never argued for abortion as a means of birth control just for a women's right to have one. It is a smokes screen as you pointed out.You cant support Chris Smith's ideas on the one hand and hold her views on the other because they are contradictory. I will no longer bother to answer her letters-a waste of good time.I am glad she claims she had a perfect GPA in college-it really important now isnt it

the constitution as interpreted by the supreme court protect a woman's right to end a pregnancyRead Moreduri ng the first two trimesters. Chris Smith would abrogate this and leave it to the politicians in the state legislatures to decide even whether a day-after pill is permissible. You cannot avoid the issue of how and why anyone who favors freedom could support someone who wants his religion to be imposed on all as the law.

The purpose of our Congressman Smith's legislation is to make it nearly impossible for women toRead Moreacqu ire a safe legal choice if she so chooses. In a democracy the government should not be intervening in the private matters of a woman and her doctor or her body. The only thing that stands between Smith's legislation is the Senate. A women's right to choose her destiny and control of her body is quite in danger if the Republicans pick up seats in November. The Hyde amendment clearly states that there can be no federally funded abortions except in the case of rape , incest and the life of the mother. In Smith's attempt to abolish abortion, even in the case of a victim being impregnated by rape or incest , Smith wrote legislation,HR3 , to redefine rape to forcible rape. HR3 waters down rape, endangers women and empowers rapists. Smith also voted against the violence against women's act. His legislation in HR7 is an attempt to block private insurance from covering women's healthcare services . Including blocking flexible spending accounts from covering costs. He proposes penalizing companies that provide women with a full range of benefits by taking away tax breaks from their employers . Since Smith considers the birth control pill to be an abortifacient , the birth control pill would no longer be covered . Penis pumps and Viagra are on the same insurance plans but male sexual enhancements are not being scrutinized and not considered to promote promiscuity . Smith is a dangerous anti women activist and leads the assault on women and women's rights. Vote in November and vote against Smith' s anti woman agenda.

Sidney, I ended my conversation with you 3 posts ago because quite frankly you don't want toRead Morediscuss issues. You have increasingly become defensive and started with personal attacks. I have been respectful of your opinions and you just don't like the fact someone disagrees with you. You come across as arrogant and angry. Don't be so angry..life is too short. By the way, who cares if NP's have admitting privileges? Again, not the issue. The Surgeon Generals office might want to read your comments and reconsider their funding. In the early 1950s, about 75% of US physicians were AMA members. That percentage has steadily decreased over the years. In June, at the annual meeting of its policy-making body, the House of Delegates, the AMA announced that it lost another 12 000 members last year. That brings total membership below 216 000. Up to a third of those members don’t pay the full $420 annual dues, including medical students and residents. Not counting those members, somewhere in the neighborhood of only 15% of practicing US doctors now belong to the AMA. The atrophy of the AMA has been attributed to several factors. Most recently, the association’s backing of President Barack Obama’s health care legislation, the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act,” may have cost it some members (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3153537/).

I said I would not respond to you but you obvious distain for the facts makes this replyRead Morenecessary.Y ou state the AMA lost members and you choose NOT to mention that the three primary care professional organizations, the ACP(internists)AAFP(family docs) and the AAP(pediatricians have ALL GAINED MEMBERSHIP) and they all reject allowing Rns or NP having admission privileges at hospitals. Its old and obvious trick, when the facts contradict you-omit them.Matbe whatever professional group you represent if any might not like you nrepresenting them!!

Sidney, I'm not going to debate an issue that is a no-issue regarding RN's or NP's. I neverRead Morementione d RN's or NP's having admitting privileges and it's not an issue that was ever in conflict. I didn't omit anything...just don't have the time to educate you. I let the facts and the voices speak for themselves. You trying to divert attention from the issue because you won't accept the fact that other people have opinions that differ from yours is a common tactic from those losing a debate. By the way, I'm not here to represent my profession. I represent my own individual opinion.

Hi Kaye, Thank you for your post. In order to dump Smith, women need to spread the word throughRead Morethe ir social media network. Please share this post with friends and family. Also, if you have a Facebook, please like District 4 Coalition. Congressman write our laws and Congressman Smith has written and sponsored this legislation. It is scary, reckless and dangerous for women. All women. Smith leads the attack of women's rights in Congress. He is considered the most outspoken anti choice Congressman and is the Chair of the Congressional Pro Life Caucus. It is amazing that a socially progressive district like district 4 has a Congressman that is opposite and will be the undoing of Roe v Wade. People just don't know!

Maybe if there were not so many cases of "Rape" where the women had consensual sex thenRead Morecl aimed rape this would not be an issue. You people are the first to want someones head on a stick when someone claims rape but silent when it turns out the "victim" lied. Your a political hack.
Sidney Alweis April 01, 2014 at 08:35 AM
Do you have any idea at all of the number of women who are raped and dont report it fromRead Morehumiliation and the threat of violence against them? Sounds like Louie Goumert and "legitmate rape" -very sad!!

Yes, there should be 'A LAW' against stupidity and accidents. We need to ban all Pools too forRead Morekil ling that poor driver that drove into it. Move to a country that bans guns Monmouth Moms, cause you're living in one that was founded on our right to have them, and the second they are banned in this country, the USA ceases to exist as a bastion of freedom for all who live here. History proves this fact, current history included.
James Reamer March 26, 2014 at 08:28 PM
There should be "A LAW" that if you accidentally shoot and kill someone, you are put toRead Mored eath yourself. That will make at least a few back-woods gun nuts second guess carrying in public. I volunteer to be the executioner. Death by steak knife sodomy.
