What's Closed on New Year's Day in Manalapan and Englishtown
Here is a look at what is open and closed in Manalapan and Englishtown
- All federal, state, and local city and town offices are closed.
- Most banks are closed.
- All postal offices are closed and mail will not be delivered.
- All branches of the Monmouth County Library System, including the Headquarters located in Manalapan Township, are closed.
- Many local businesses are closed to allow their employees to spend time with their families. However, the following businesses will be open during normal business hours on New Year's Day:
- Most Convenience stores are open, including as Wawa, Quik Chek, and 7-Eleven.
- Most Supermarkets are open: Super Stop & Shop opens at 6 a.m. and Wegmans opens at 7 a.m.
- Some retail stores are open, including: CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, Target, and Best Buy.
- Bars and restaurants are open at owner's discretion.
