SAMARITAN CENTER SEEKS SHARE OF $1M DONATION

The Samaritan Center is again participating in the Feinstein Foundation Challenge to end hunger in the greater Manalapan area in 2014.  For the 17th consecutive year, Alan Shawn Feinstein will give away $1 million divided among hunger fighting agencies nationwide.

Founded in 1991 by Alan Shawn Feinstein, the Feinstein Foundation is dedicated to the alleviation of hunger, the importance of community service in education and the values of caring, compassion and brotherhood. Feinstein’s past annual spring $1 million Challenge to fight hunger has raised over $2.0 Billion for more than 1800 hunger fighting organizations across the U.S.

The campaign runs from March 1 to April 30, 2014. The more donations we receive during that period of time the more Feinstein money will be given to the Samaritan Center. These donations can include cash, checks and food items. Food items will be valued at $1.00 per item or $1.00 per pound. Your donation toward this campaign makes us all partners in the most successful ongoing effort ever to fight hunger. That is something we can all take great pride in.
