Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Manalapan Township Fire Company #1 is holding a Breakfast with the Easter Bunny Fundraiser on Saturday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the fire department, located at 5 Sweetmans Lane. Tickets will be sold at the door: adults are $10, children are $5 and children ages two and under are free. Please bring your camera!

Sweet Memory Bunny Brunch

Still hungry for more Easter Bunny? Mark Joseph’s Grilled Pizza is holding a Bunny Brunch on Saturday, March 23 from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. This is a sit down brunch and photos with the Easter Bunny. Tickets cost $24.95 for adults and $14.95 for children. Every child will receive a special gift from the Easter Bunny and one glitter tattoo. One framed photo with the Easter Bunny will be provided per table. And there will also be a candy and dessert buffet provided by Sweet Smoochie! Reservations are required. Please call 732-409-3333.

Englishtown Easter Egg Hunt

The annual Englishtown Easter Egg Hunt in Sanford Park is scheduled for Saturday, March 23 at noon. Make sure your kids have on their running shoes to snatch up as many eggs as possible! The rain date is scheduled for Saturday, March 30.

Jazz Concert

The Monmouth County Library is celebrating 40 years of jazz this Sunday, March 24 with a jazz concert featuring The Richard Reiter Jazz Ensemble, a swing band. Their repertoire includes: “Our Love is Here to Stay,” “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “As Time Goes By,” “Sing Sing Sing,”  and “Jump Jive an’ Wail.”    
 
Richard Reiter, an Emmy Award winning composer, has performed as guest jazz saxophone soloist with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, featured artist on PBS TV, on-stage clarinet soloist in Bob Fosse’s Broadway musical “Dancin’,” and backup for such notables as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nancy Wilson, Temptations, and Supremes.

The concert will take place at the Monmouth County Library on 125 Symmes Drive from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
