Last Chance: Englishtown Knights of Columbus Food Drive Ends Saturday

Canned good donations benefit the Samaritan Center.

Tomorrow is the last day that the Knights of Columbus will be collecting canned goods for the Samaritan Center, a local food bank serving Manalapan, Englishtown, Millstone and Marlboro. 

The Lenten food drive has been a hugely successful so far with 1,389 cans collected, according to Deputy Grand Knight Anthony Pluchino, noting that they wanted to collect 1,000 cans by March 23. They have also already received check donations for the Samaritan Center in the amount of $300.

Cans will be collected in the Knights of Columbus Parking Lot at 3 LaSatta Avenue from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 23.
