Manalapan Recreation Offers Various Youth, Adult Winter Programs

The programs are both athletic and fun.

The Manalapan Parks and Recreation is offering a variety of programs this winter for both young people and adults.

Program offerings include:

  • Youth and Adult Running
    • open to childen in grades 2-8
    • adult program for 18+
    • run by personal fitness trainers and running coaches
    • program runs through Feb. 23
    • $80 per person
    • meets at Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School gym
  • Youth and Adult Yoga
    • one hour class for adults (18+) and children ages 8-13;
    • $80 for adult residents; $100 for non-residents
    • 45 minute class for children ages 3-5; $60 per child
    • youth participants must be residents of Manalapan
    • at Manalapan Recreation Center's Kuschik Pavilion
  • Youth/Adult Bowling
    • 12-week youth program open to children ages 7-14
    • 12-week adult /child bowling program, $10 per team
    • children must be at least 5-years-old
    • Registration ends Jan. 17
    • at Knob Hill Country Lanes
  • Youth Twirling Program
    • Baton twirling for children in grades 1 through 5
    • Wednesdays starting Jan. 23 through May 22
    • 6:30 - 8 p.m. at Taylor Mills School
  • Miss Melissa's Aardvarks
    • available for children between 6-months-old to 5-years-old
    • 10 week program, every Tuesday starting Jan. 15
    • $195 per parent/child registration, $115 for second child with same parent, $75 for third child with same parent
  • Adult Zumba
    • open to people 15-years-old and older
    • held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:45 p.m. at Milford Brook School gym
    • $100 for residents; $130 for non-residents
