Route 33 Repaving to Cause Detours Next Week
The road will be closed temporarily during the construction.
A section of Route 33 in Manalapan will be resurfaced next week, beginning on Tuesday, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
Both the east and west sides of the highway well be done between milepost 24.3 and milepost 29. This is roughly from the Sweetmans Lane intersection up until the Halls Mills Road exit in Freehold.
The construction work includes resurfacing the main road, ramps, and adjacent streets. There will be temporary road closures while this construction is underway.
