Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for Monmouth County
The National Weather Service is warning of possible wind damage.
A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Monmouth County until noon on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
A line of heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms is traveling from Pennsylvania into New Jersey, along with heavy gusts of wind.
There is little to no lightning within this storm, according to the National Weather Service, but it will produce heavy wind damage. Everyone is encouraged to seek shelter and stay away from windows.
