The snow on Sunday that was supposed to be no more than a dusting could leave a much heavier impression on our area.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued from 1 p.m. on Sunday until 1 a.m. on Monday. The current forecast calls for anywhere between one and three inches during the day today before a mix of rain, sleet and snow tonight and rain and sleet in the later hours before shifting to rain overnight. There could be close to half an inch of accumulation tonight.

By Monday the snow should all clear but it will likely be a rainy day with close to half an inch possible before the day is done and a high temperature near 49 degrees.

Saw a car spin out on Rt 9 south near Towne Pointe. Roads are slick and High School Football Championship game is tonight - take it slow!
