Downtown Freehold's Summer Concert Series Heats Up Thursday Nights

Free concerts every Thursday night at the Hall of Records starting at 7:30 pm.

With a heat wave kicking-off the summer this week, Downtown Freehold's Summer Concert Series heats up Main St. even more.

The series starts Thursday, June 21 at the Hall of Records with the first concert of the season starting at 7:30 p.m. The band Mission Dance will be the first of 15 bands to play throughout the free summer series, which will run through October this year.

"We are grateful that for this year, we had so many bands that wanted to play our summerstage in the grand rotunda in front of the historic Hall of Records," said Richard Gatto, CEO of Downtown Freehold.


The schedule is as follows:


June 21st – Mission Dance

June 28th – Jersey Four


July 5th – The Nerds

July 12th – U2 Nation

July 19th – The Rising

July 26th – NRG


August 2nd – Party Dolls

August 9th – The Phil Engel Band

August 16th – Jimmy & The Parrots

August 23rd – Bobby & The Jets

August 30th – Daddy Pop


September 19th – The Nerds

September 26th – After The Reign


October 3rd – Amish Outlaws

October 10th – Tribute to the 70’s


The popular music concerts are sponsored by Downtown Freehold in Association with 33 East Full Service Car Wash & Pepsico 2012. 

Gatto said admission and parking in Downtown Freehold is always free for these fabulous concerts.

My i do miss downtown. I miss NJ alot. Someday i will come back. I miss freehold i love the summer there
