Based on the memories of the longest surviving member of a 1930s German barbershop sextet, this musical drama chronicles the life and times of six musicians who form the group. Shortly after their rise to fame, authorities pressured them to either lose their three Jewish members, or to perform material more fitting to National Socialism. Starring Ben Becker, Heino Ferch, Ulrich Noethen, and Heinrich Schafmeister.  Directed by Joseph Vilsmaier.  Shown in German with English subtitles.
