Join the 2011 Summer Reading Club at Library Headquarters

Children, teenagers, and adults can join a reading club this summer at the Monmouth County Library to keep track of how many books they read!  

Click on the Summer Reading Club link at Monmouth County Library's Web site to create your own reading account. Each account allows you to record the time you spent reading, write the titles of the books and even review them! Set goals at the beginning of the summer and track your progress throughout the season. 

Each personal account also provides access to great library Web site features with links that help you find exactly what you are looking for. The links help you find a specific time period or place so that you can stumble upon some great reads that you might not have discovered on your own. 

The reading club will feature great programs, prizes and contests all summer!

• Preschoolers and Pre-readers join the reading club entitled "Read to Me" (an adult will join for the pre-reader and read books to them throughout the summer, and keep track of the number of books online)

• Readers through grade 6 join the reading club entitled "One World, Many Stories"
• Teenagers (grades 7 through 12) join the reading club entitled "You are Here!"
• Adult readers (ages 18+) join the reading club entitled "Novel Destinations"
