Manalapan-Englishtown Schools Offer Cashless Meal Payment Options

Kids keep losing their lunch money? Now they don't have to worry about it!

The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District is offering a variety of cashless payment options for students' meals throughout the 2013-2014 school year.

Pre-paying for the child's meal is advantageous because it speeds up service and parents do not have to deal with cash every morning.

Here are the different cashless options:

1. ACH Electronic Checking - Use your checking account to add to your student's balance. There is a flat fee of $1.75 for this service.

2. Credit Card - Place money in your child's account from your own computer. There is a convenience fee of 3.95 percent for each deposit transaction.

3. Checks - The cafeteria will accept checks. The child can bring the check to school and access that money the same day. Make checks payable to "Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools Cafeteria" and be sure to include your student's name or ID number in the memo section of the check.

The cafeteria will also continue to accept cash. Each student will inform the cafeteria employee to put the change on his or her account.
