Jerome is a 6-year-old very shy, submissive boy who deserves a home that will shower him with love, and teach him that the world is not such a scary place! He was found minutes from death on the side of a roadway! He was covered in lacerations on his face, head and body. A girl with a huge heart found him, and rushed him to the Vet's office, where the Vet performed surgery on him, and was able to save his life!
Jerome's wounds have all healed, but he did end up loosing partial to all the vision in his left eye. He is now in one of our local foster homes getting used to living in a home environment. He is with dogs and other cats. His bed is his safe place, and he pretty much tucks himself deep inside of it most of the day, but peeps his head up when the other animals pass by him, and gets out to use the litter box. You can tell he is very curious and yearns to make friends, but he lacks the confidence to do so!
He does best when you approach him calmly, and speak to him softly, and he will allow you to pet and hold him. He really needs someone who can understand his needs, and take the time to build the bond with him that he is desperate for! He would do great as a companion for an older person or couple.
Jerome is neutered and fully up-to-date with his vaccines. His adoption fee is $75, which is a tax deductible donation, as we are 501(C)(3). For an application to adopt please email us at CuddlyCreaturesInc@yahoo.com.
Sioux is a 6-month-old unique looking mix, that we saved from a southern high kill shelter! Sioux is in one of our local foster homes with other dogs, as well as cats. She is a very happy girl, who loves to play fetch, has a lot of energy to burn, and absolutely loves the water. But she is also the type to snuggle up on you for a belly rub, once play time is over.
Sioux is crate trained, house trained, walks well on a leash, knows sit, stay, and wait for a treat. You can stick your hand in her dish without a worry. Sioux has had a lot of basic training since she has been with us, but is still a puppy, and will need a family who will continue to teach her. Sioux would do best in a home with a strong experienced owner, where she can get a lot of exercise, with kids over 12 as she still jumps up on people, but we're working on that, and if there are other animals in the home, they need to be able to tolerate her playfulness!
She is spayed, up-to-date with all her vaccines, her rabies shot, is Heartworm Negative, on interceptor, is Frontlined, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300 which is a tax deductible donation, as we are 501(C)(3). For an application to adopt please email us at CuddlyCreaturesInc@yahoo.com You can also see more pictures of her, and a video at CuddlyCreaturesInc.com under "Adoptable Pets"
