Englishtown Quick Chek Sells $40K Lotto Ticket

No first place Powerball winner selected as jackpot rolls to $116 million.

One lucky Englishtown Quick Chek patron walked out of the store $40,000 richer.

New Jersey Lottery announced Monday that the Powerball ticket purchased for Saturday’s drawing included a Power Play Option, multiplying a would-be $10,000 ticket into the $40,000 amount.

There were no first or second prize winners in the Powerball drawing, but the $40,000 ticket was one of six third prize winners in the state.
