iPlay America Announces Date for Grand Opening

Indoor amusement park scheduled to open Friday, Nov. 11

Start your (go kart) engines. , the indoor amusement park under construction at 110 Schanck Road in Freehold Township, will hold its grand opening on Nov. 11 at 11:11 a.m., according to a press release issued by the company.

The facility features two-floor laser tag, bumper cars, mini bowling, rides, and a go kart racetrack, among other activities. iPlay America will also house restaurants, concessions stands, a candy shop and a self-serve yogurt shop.

The Encore Banquet & Event Center, a 20,000-square-foot event space, is located in the same building and is a partner company of iPlay America. The banquet center will be well-suited for corporate events, weddings, proms and tradeshows, said Marcy Edwards, director of marketing and public relations for iPlay America.

The companies held job fairs this summer and is interviewing to fill 300 positions in both facilities.
