Jersey Mikes Opens in Morganville, Looks To Benefit Local Charity

Jersey Mike's opened its doors in Morganville on Wednesday, and will spend its first five days in business helping out local charity .

Franchise owners Derek Schork and Edward Dzienkiewicz, and store operator Justin Schork will hold a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, Aug. 15 to Sunday, Aug. 19.

Jersey Mike's has 10,000 coupons for a free regular sub with a $1 donation to Stomp the Monster.

“In 1999, I began working at Jersey Mike’s in Howell while I was a high school student,” said Schork. “The sense of community that I experienced as an employee working in Howell still holds true today, and I am looking forward to building those same ties here in Morganville.  We chose to partner with STOMP The Monster™ because of their commitment to giving back and healthy living and we are grateful for the opportunity to make a difference for those who benefit from this cause.”

Jersey Mike's began in 1956 at down the shore, and opened new 69 restaurants last year.

Jersey Mike's is located at 450 Union Hill Road in Morganville.

Stomp the Monster helps families and individuals around the country who are suffering from cancer.
