Monmouth County Job Fair Set for Sept. 20

The job fair is free to employers and jobseekers.

Jobseekers and employers will have the opportunity to connect at the Monmouth County Job Fair Friday, Sept. 20.

The job fair will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Brookdale Community College Recreation and Events Center. It is free to employers who reserve a table as well as jobseekers to attend.

Last year’s job fair attracted more than 100 employers and approximately 1,200 jobseekers.

Employers will range from careers in healthcare, government, retail, security, technology, manufacturing and sales.

“Employers who have immediate job openings are invited to participate in Monmouth County’s Fall Job Fair,” said Freeholder Deputy Director Serena DiMaso, liaison to the Monmouth County Department of Workforce Development. “This will improve the probability that jobseekers will find employment by attending.”

The Brookdale Community College Recreation and Events Center is located at 765 Newman Springs Rd. in Lincroft.

The 2013 Monmouth County Job Fair is a partnership of the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Monmouth County Workforce Investment Board, Monmouth County Department of Workforce Development, New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Monmouth-Ocean Development Council, Jersey Shore Association of Human Resources, and Brookdale Community College.
