Now Hiring: Manalapan Sports Authority

There are four opening currently at the Manalapan Sports Authority.

Manalapan’s newest business, Sports Authority, is looking to hire some more employees. The sporting goods superstore, which had it’s, is looking for a cashier, technical services associate, a merchandising associate and a sales associate.

Customer Services Associate/Cashier

The responsibilities of the customer services associate/cashier are to greet customers, assist at check-out and with returns, answer store phones, and efficiently help people. Previous retail experience is preferred.

Technical Services Associate

The Technical Services associate will assist customers with technical services on sporting equipment, such as repairs, equipment maintenance, racket stringing, ski mounts and bike tunes. The associate will be responsible to operate and maintain the technical shop, complete paperwork, and document all of the maintenance information. Mechanical knowledge of both the ski and bike industry is necessary.

Sales Associate

The sales associate is responsible for selling the appropriate product to customers and understanding their needs, develop a deep knowledge of the products and their benefits, and to use effective selling techniques. The sales associate will also need to assist with merchandising.

Merchandising/Visual Associate

The Merchandising/Visual Associate will conduct the receiving process, merchandise the products on the sales floor, and maintain the appearance of the store. Responsibilities include processing merchandise, advise customers, and process inventory.
