Qdoba Celebrates Grand Opening at Freehold Raceway Mall

The new restaurant is described as a fast casual Mexican grill.

The Freehold Raceway Mall welcomed its newest restaurant on Monday with the grand opening of Qdoba Mexican Grill.

Conveniently located where the former Johnny Rockets was located, Qdoba offers shoppers a fast casual dining experience outside of the food court. It features classic Mexican dishes and a large dining area both inside and directly outside the restaurant.

“Everything we serve is made here on our premise and brings our quality of food to another level. When we are not serving customers, you can see our employees smashing avocados to make our guacamole,” explained Tiffany Thrasher, a Regional Marketing Specialist for Qdoba.

To keep their food innovative, Qdoba offers three signature flavors of Mexican Gumbo, 3-Cheese Queso and Ancho Chile BBQ that can be added to any of their dishes.

“This is not your typical fast food eatery,” explained Thrasher. “You build your own custom dish as you travel down the line. We always offer fresh ingredients and innovative flavors.”

In addition to keeping diners satisfied, Qdoba also hopes to get involved in the Freehold community. According to Thrasher, the eatery will be working with the Freehold Raceway Mall's Kids Club to teach children about food.

Qdoba will be celebrating their grand opening all week by giving every guest who visits the new restaurant between April 1 and 7 a Qdoba Rewards Card preloaded with a free order of chips and queso. Throughout April, guests who fill out a registration form at the restaurant will be entered into a giveaway, and 10 lucky winners will receive free burritos for a year.
