VIDEO: Jump Start Therapy, LLC, Cuts the Ribbon
Manalapan Township Committeewoman Michelle Roth made the official declaration for the pediatric occupational and physical therapy clinic located at 219 Taylors Mills Road.
This video features highlights from a ribbon cutting ceremony for Jump Start Therapy, LLP, which offers occupational therapy and physical therapy services for kids.
On Sunday May 22, Manalapan Township Committeewoman Michelle Roth cut the ribbon to the clinic's sensory gym in celebration of Jump Start's grand opening. Approximately 50 guests gathered for the event.
Jump Start Therapy is located at 219 Taylors Mills Road and shares the same location as Midstate Therapy Associates (speech and occupational therapy).

The owners of Jump Start, Margo Lichtenthal, MS, OTR/L and Esther Misrahi Elting, MS, OTR/L, are local residents and have a combined experience of more than 40 years in pediatrics, including early intervention for pre-school and school-aged children.
“Our mission is to improve the quality of life for each child whom we serve by increasing his/her level of independence and improving functionality ability in home, school and community settings,” reads a statement on their brochure. “We seek to accomplish this by providing quality individualized therapy services in our sensory gym by our staff of highly trained and experienced therapists.”

Jump Start Therapy is a branch of Therapy-Pros, which Lichtenthal and Elting began in 2000 in Staten Island, New York. They are excited to open their new clinic in Monmouth County, an area in need of this type of therapy, they say.
“I think it’s a fabulous opportunity that we have here. It’s going to be a real pediatric center for this community, and I live in this community. So it’s wonderful and that everybody is here to support us, it’s just a wonderful, wonderful day,” said Nancy Bolotsky, the Office Manager of the Staten Island location.
Jump Start provides therapy services that include fine motor skills, sensory integration, neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), visual motor and perceptual skills, handwriting skills, self care skills, balance and coordination. Physical therapy services include gross motor skills, upper extremity strength and endurance, core strengthening, endurance activities, and postural control.
Jump Start Therapy currently accepts United Healthcare, Americhoice, and Evercare. Negotiations with Aetna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Ortho Net are pending.
