VIDEO: Manalapan Residents Stock Up for Storm

The imminent storm has locals running to the stores to stockpile food and goods.

Manalapan residents scurried around Wegmans prepping for the impending snow storm. While it will rain most of day the wet weather turns to snow at around 11 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, according to the National Weather Service

Everyone was stocking up on the essentials just in case they become snowed in their homes or lose electricity.

A Wegmans employee said that the store has been extremely busy in the wake of the storm and that some people are buying more than they probably need.

"Because you need 12 quarts of milk in a snow storm," she said while rolling her eyes.

TELL US: Have you stored up your food and goods in case the snow and messy streets keep you stuck inside this weekend?

It's always fun to watch the crazies stocking up on food when a storm is on the way. They act as it was the end of the earth. I remember watching the greedy ones stocking up on twenty cases of water after Sandy. It boggles my mind to think of anyone living in thia area that doesn't have enough food in their home to last a day or two.
