Please Vote for New Perspectives and Independent Thinkers in the Assembly

It has been a pleasure getting out and meeting many of the residents of Manalapan; I wish I could have met all of you.  I, and my fellow District 12 Democratic Assembly Candidate, Bill Spedding, are ready and eager to go to Trenton and begin working for you.  We will work for property tax relief for the middle class cut by Republican incumbents and end the special tax break for millionaires.  Everyone should pay their fair share.  We will work to reinstate municipal aid funding to reduce the burden on all property tax payers.  We will promote programs that revitalize our economy and bring middle class jobs back to New Jersey; and we will support policies that preserve and protect the environment.  We will work to close loopholes and end abuse of the Farmland Assessment and Preservation programs that allow people to avoid paying their fair share.

Instead of standing up for middle class homeowners, Assembly Republicans voted in lockstep to cut hundreds of millions of dollars in state aid to many suburban towns.   The District 12 Republican Assembly candidates gave away an average of $40,000 tax cuts to New Jersey's 16,000 wealthiest residents at the expense of middle class families.  How is that a fair deal for the middle class in Manalapan and District 12?  

Middle class families in New Jersey need independent minded Democrats that will fight for them in the Assembly.  Bill Spedding and I are those independent minded Democrats.  We can't do it without you.  Please come out and vote for us this Tuesday.  Every vote counts.  Thank you.  We look forward to serving you in Trenton.
