Important Election - Get out and Vote Tuesday November 5th!!

Hi, my name is Diane Bindler, I'm an Independent Candidate for the General Assembly of NJ's Legislature in Tuesday's Election.  I reside in ManalapanTownship and have lived in western Monmouth County for 40+ years. The quality of life has really changed, and not for the better for most of us. If Elected to represent the people of the 12th District, my primary focus will be on the Economy and creating Business Opportunities through incentivizationprograms. Among other top priorities are Public Education, protecting our Bill of Rights, and Healthcare Reform that allows for private sector competition and choice.  I believe in team-work, and as an Independent I can work with both sides of the aisle to accomplish what needs to get done without partisanship.
Over the past few decades, I went from considering myself a Democrat, to a Republican, and now an Independent.  I feel that neither of the 2 major parties are truly representing the will of the people. The majority of the people I speak to, believe the same.
As for my platform and personal ideology, I am fiscally conservative and socially moderate - I believe in live and let live when it comes to social issues. When it comes to government welfare and assistance, we need to assist those that can not help themselves, but let's make sure those who can, DO !
** NOTE: the 12th District is comprised of the following: Monmouth County: Allentown, Englishtown,Manalapan,Matawan, Millstone,Roosevelt, Upper Freehold  Middlesex County:  Old Bridge, Ocean County: Jackson and Plumsted, Burlington County:  Chesterfield, New Hanover, North Hanover,Wrightstown
My background:I graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Finance (1989)and an M.B.A. (1998). Upon graduating, I worked for The Prudential Insurance Company. About a decade later, I entered the world of residential Real Estate and became one of the top Agents.  I've also been involved with a small family owned & operated business in the local area.
In April, 2010, I was elected to the Manalapan-Englishtown Board of Education and this was my introduction into the arena of governance and public policy.
As a representative of, for and by the people, I am running to represent YOU. I will keep my Constituents informed as to what takes place in Trenton, as I believe transparency is critical in a democracy.
I hope you all embrace your right to Vote on Tuesday, November 5th. Remember, your vote is your voice, make it count !
