5 Things to Know Today in Manalapan: Jan. 16, 2013

1. More Rain: The wet weather continues today with a 40 percent chance of snow and sleet. The high temperature today will reach around 43 and skies will be mostly cloudy. Tonight will be partly cloudy and the low temperature decreases to about 30.

 

2. Bridal Show: A Bridal Show is being held at the Battleground Country Club today at 6 p.m. New Jersey’s top wedding professionals will be on hand and live runway fashions by True Love Bridal will be shown. There will also be live performances from SCE Event Group and Mission Dance.

4. Introduction to PCs: A basic class on computer terminology, Windows, and files and folders is being held today at the Monmouth County Library. The class, which begins at 10 a.m., will not cover Mac computers or the internet. This class is streamlined towards people who have no experience with computers or for people who want to review the basics.

5. Fashion Show for Parkinson’s Research: A “Passion for Fashion” fashion show to benefit Parkinson’s Disease Research will be held on April 9, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Main Street Bistro in Freehold. A $40 ticket buys a four course dinner, chinese auction, vendors, fashion show and DJ. For more information, click here.
