1. Clouds, Rain: The National Weather Service is calling for a 30 percent chance of rainfall this afternoon with a high temperature around 41 degrees. Otherwise, the day will be mostly cloudy. Tonight will be cloudy during the early evenignand then gradually clear with the low dropping to about 26. After 1 a.m. there is a 40 percent chance of snowfall.
 

 

2. Government:

4. Morning Book Club Rescheduled: The weekly Thursday Morning Book Club at the Monmouth County Library has been rescheduled from today to Jan. 24. A live discussion with author Jamie Ford via Skype next week at 10:30 a.m.

 

5. Lost Dachsund: Lucy, a brown smooth dachshund, ran away from her Sutton Drive home in Matawan on Dec. 22. Her family is still desperately looking for her and offering a $1,000 reward. For more information about Lucy, click here.
