5 Things to Know Today in Manalapan: July 2, 2012

A compilation of the need to know info and events going on in, and around, Manalapan Township and the Borough of Englishtown.

1. Sunny and Hot: Monday will be sunny with a high of 89 degrees and an overnight low of 65, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Crafts at the Library: will hold on Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. The craft session is for school-age children going into first grade or higher in September.

3. Monmouth County Water Emergency: United Water and Gordons Corner Water Company are not directly impacted by the water main break experience by New Jersey American Water. Manalapan residents and businesses do not need to boil water but should curtail any unnecessary outside water use until the emergency is over.

4. Summer Movie in the Park: Looking for some family fun this week of Independence Day? Manalapan will host a viewing of An American Tale on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. at the Manalapan Recreation Center.

5. Letter from Acting Principal: Manalapan High School Acting Principal Adam L. Angelozzi sent a letter to parents, students and community to introduce himself. The letter is available on the district Web site.
