1. Sunny, Small Chance of Rain: According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny with a high around 89. There is also a 30 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Tonight, the chance of rain continues and the low temp decreases to 67.

 

 

2. We’re Kickin’ It Party: The Microsoft Store at the Freehold Raceway Mall is hosting a “Positive Party” sponsored by the Bullying…We’re Kickin’ It group. The dance is for students ages 6 to 14 and will last from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.  RSVP is required, please call 732-409-1132 to RSVP. For more information, .

3. : Patch wants YOUR help in determining which local business deserve the title of “Readers’ Choice”. We’ve put together 25 categories of restaurants, retail shops, service businesses, and more. We're just asking you to nominate your favorite business in each category.

4. : Pick up tickets to see best-selling author Robert Goolrick at the Marlboro Public library on July 5 at 11 a.m.  Goolrick will be reading from his much-anticipated second novel “Heading Out to Wonderful”. Goolrick’s first work is best seller, “A Reliable Wife”, which he read from at the Marlboro Public Library in June 2010. Limit of two tickets per person, which must be picked up from the library. 5. Take Your Dog to Work Day: Yes, there actually is a “Take Your Dog to Work Day”! This holiday was established in 1999 by Pet Setters International and it aims at celebrating dogs and promoting their adoptions! So if you’re a business owner, encourage your employees to bring in their adorable pooches and tell them it’s fur a good cause!
