1. Rain and Snow: The National Weather Service is calling for rain and snow before 3 p.m. with the high temperature reaching around 38 today; the chance of precipitation is 80 percent. The chance of rain and snow continues overnight with the low dipping to about 31.

 

 

2. Government:

  • The Board of Health is meeting in room 216 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 6 p.m.

 

3. MERS BOE: The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Board of Education is holding a regular board meeting at Pine Brook School tonight at 7:30 p.m.

4. Giving for Gilbert: The Manalapan office of Coldwell Banker is hosting a Gift Show, "Giving for Gilbert”. This charity is for Gilbert, 38, who suffers from MS and requires around the clock care; he is the son of a sales associate. Vendors will be showcasing wares and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to help Gilbert. The event will take place at 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, located at 335 Route 9 South.

 

 

5: The End of the World: The Monmouth County Library is playing “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World” today at 2 p.m. as a part of their “Unleash Your Potential: A Film Series”. The film follows Steve Carell who takes a road trip to reunite with his high school sweetheart as an asteroid nears Earth.
