1. Mostly Sunny: Today will be mostly sunny with a high around 71, according to the National Weather Service. Otherwise, there is a 20 percent chance of rain after 2 p.m. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low temperature around 50.

 

 

2. Government:

  • The Board of Health is meeting in room 216 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 6 p.m.

3. Movie at the Library: Snow White and the Huntsmen will be playing at the Monmouth County Library today at 2 p.m. This film is part of the library’s “A Toast to Family and Friends” film series. This epic action-adventure film stars Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, and Chris Hemsworth.

 

 

4. Flu Vaccination Clinics Today: The Manalapan Health Department is offering flu vaccination clinics today at two different locations. Flu shots cost $20, but are free for seniors who present their  Medicare Part B card.

  • Ages 12 and up: Clinic at Covered Bridge at 1 Amberly Drive from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and at the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 7 p.m.
  • Ages 6 months and up: Clinic at the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 7 p.m.

 

 

5. Half-Day at Elementary Schools: The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional Schools hare having a four hour day today due to Parent-Teacher conferences. Today is the first day of Parent Teacher conferences. They will continue throughout the rest of the week.
