3. Second Day of Rosh Hashana: Today is the second day of Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year. The candles should be lit tonight at 7:43 p.m. Candles are lit to represent warmth in ushering in the Jewish holidays.
4. Cody Simpson "Bing it On" Event: Australian pop singer will be hosting a one-hour “Bing it On” event broadcasted via Skype at the Microsoft Store in the Freehold Raceway Mall at 6 p.m. tonight. 5. Manalapan Senior Center:
- The Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) meets at 9 a.m.
