The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requires Englishtown to report the total amount of damage the Borough of Englishtown accumulated during the storm. This must be done so that Monmouth County can be declared as a disaster area and the borough can see the benefit of federal funds being released to Englishtown and other neighboring towns.

After the damage is reported to the borough, a phone call will be made to you to set up a suitable time for an inspector to survey the damage on your home or business. This inspector is distinct from the one who performed an inspection for your insurance company.

Once the inspection is complete, instructions will be given to you in the mail on how to begin receiving a possible reimbursement from FEMA for damages.

If you have any questions, please contact the Englishtown Municipal Building at (732)-446-9235.
