1. Balmy Wednesday: There is a 30 percent chance of morning rain occurring before 8 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. The rest of the day will be mostly cloudy with a high near 80 degrees. Tonight, expect a mostly cloudy skies with a low around 64.

 

2. School Board Election Day:

Manalapan-Englishtown and Freehold Regional School District School Board elections are being held today. Elect new members the board of educations and vote on the budget. Polls are open from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

President of the New Jersey School Boards Association, Raymond R. Wiss, urges all residents to get out and exercise their democratic right to vote today.

Eat Ice Cream for Charity: The Dunkin Donuts and Baskins Robbins in Englishtown (14 Wilson Ave.) is hosting a fun, charitable event today called from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Come down for scoop of ice cream for 31 cents and stay for live music, face painting, balloon twisting, spin the wheel games, free prizes and giveaways, and a coloring contest!

Money raised will go towards the National Fallen Fire Fighters of America; additional donations are encouraged.
