1. Sunny and Breezy: Expect a mostly sunny day with a high around 45, according to the National Weather Service. The day will also be windy with wind speeds as high as 20 MPH. Tonight, skies remain clear and the low drops to chilly 24.

 

 

2. Winter Recess Movie: Need to get the kids out of the house this winter break? Hit the at 10 a.m. to watch the family film, .  Starring Jim Carrey, the film follows a businessman who inherits six penguins which show him what is important in life.

3. Winter Art Camp: Wait, you don’t think you’ll be able to get your kids to sit still for a movie? Bring them to the Artisan Studio (9 N. Main St. in Marlboro) for half or full day programs, as discounts are available this week. Mornings last from 9 a.m. to noon for $35, afternoons last from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for $35, and full days from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. cost $65. Kids ages 4-14 are welcome to participate in painting, drawing, crafts, paper mache, clay, and more.

4. National Chocolate Day: Today is every woman’s favorite holiday, nope not Valentine’s Day, National Chocolate Day! According to the National Confectioners Association (NCA), today and tomorrow are officially National Chocolate Day - so don’t feel guilty about indulging in chocolatey confections! Luckily, Manalapan Township is home of a phenomenal and well-known - so stop by and stock up on chocolate-covered goodies. It is a holiday after all…
